Keenaghan Cottage is a listed historic building overlooking its own lake which is a perfect setting for a 'get-away' holiday with the location being only 4km from Belleek village's pubs and restaurants and a 10 minute drive to Donegal where you find lovely beaches.
This unique thatched cottage has been restored to a very high standard with old pine and traditional furnishings & fittings throughout and is 4* Tourist Board registered.
At the front door lies Keenaghan Lough, forty acres of protected brown trout, for fly fishing only, which is rich in freshwater shrimp and crab; providing the most delicious red fleshed trout from March to October. It is ideal for shore fishing on the cottage side of the lake.
The accommodation is first class and comprises of two spacious bedrooms, one double and one twin bedded room, a delightful lounge with original Irish open hearth fire and fully fitted kitchen.
This is an ideal location for touring some of the many attractions and places of historical interest close by, Belleek Pottery, Enniskillen Castle & Museum, National Trust Properties; Castle Coole, Florence Court House and the Marble Arch Caves are only a short drive away.
Keenaghan Cottage is also a great choice for guests who enjoy outdoor activities, including, walking, cycling, water sports, horse-riding, tennis, and golfing which are all in the surrounding area.
